Best scanner for art with mac computer?
So I know a lot of people here do art, so I thought I'd ask.
I'm looking for a scanner for my MacBook Pro. I primarily do pencil drawings, with the occasional pen. I normally draw on standard computer paper. I'd like something that would give me a really clear image, because in the past I've had scanners which give all of this interference around the image and lines and it looks awful. Ideally, if there was something really awesome out there that had a printer with it, that'd be great too, but I'm not as concerned with that. Anyone got any ideas?

To be honest the best way of making your art digital is to take a photo. Take the photo outside in the shade on a sunny day, place your keys, or some other object next to your art. Focus your camera on the keys then move it over and take the photo of your art.
Then you can upload the photo to your computer and edit the edges. You will get much better results like this than you will with any scanner. Its what I do for most of my prints. |

Well, two problems - (or more three - I live in a place with crappy weather) I don't own a camera and I have a permanent tremor in my hands - I have tried taking pictures of my work with a camera, but they turn out blurry because of the shaking.
I imagined that may have been what most people would ahve done.

This is what I use for scanning all my drawings... http://www.kmart.com/ion-copy-cat-ha...W033105410001P It's cheaper now than when I bought it. It scans to a micro SD card, and comes with and adapter, you just have to be careful while scanning. ;3
