A way to make rounded borders around daycare pets?

So I managed to get the css border around it- but now It's doing this :

when I attempt to add words.


And this is the CSS:
divide{
padding-top: 15px;
height: auto;
border: 2px solid #000000;
border-radius:5px;
background-color: #E1E1E1;

}

What... am I messing up?
