Error When Uploading Images

I think this should be an easy fix, but is anyone else getting this warning when uploading new images in the ACP?:
Warning: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move '/tmp/php61e0BE' to '../picuploads/png/e05aa34a4dcdcc3021b35a134a10b7e9.png' in /home/wallie12/public_html/admincp/image.php on line 86

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Looks like you need to change the CMD of your folder picupload/png to 777.

Oh thank you, but I'm still getting the warning... O.o

Hall of Famer 02-12-2014 02:36 PM

Still get the warning? Strange, but does the images get uploaded properly now?

Hwona 02-12-2014 04:38 PM

The images aren't uploading. :( I originally suspected that the issue had to do with disk space usage since that's really the only thing that I've changed recently. But then again, I have no experience with this sort of thing.

umm disk space... Was this the first time you uploaded images? If not, can I assume you were not getting errors before but it just happened to you very recently?

Hwona 02-12-2014 04:47 PM

Yes, i never had any problems before... then all of a sudden, my disk space goes from 68% to 148%?

Hall of Famer 02-12-2014 04:57 PM

umm perhaps its the disk space problem after all. I wonder why your disk space actually reaches above 100%? Did the webhost change the quota?

Hwona 02-12-2014 05:21 PM

Well, I'm using x10hosting as of now. Would disk space affect anything else other than image uploading?

Hall of Famer 02-12-2014 05:23 PM

It shouldnt affect the script from working, but theres a risk that your webhost may suspend your site for overusing their resources. Be careful with that, if you get problems like that please let us know then.
