Making a vBCommerce shop (on this forum)
 

When you click vBCommerce, you can buy stuff.
But how do you make stuff for people to buy? :desudesudesu:

Well for now only dev staff can actually create items.

I like that idea. I can't make art myself but I'm sure people would like to sell their art via the shops.

I will consider, it wont hurt to allow everyone to make their own shops though.

I really like this idea! How ever before doing it you would need a way to sort it.

But what should we use credits for? To buy premium membership for # weeks/months? Well I dunno xD

To buy from other users shop I would think. I mean what's the point of having a points system if there is nothing to by?

I'm excited about the idea of being able to buy things, hence why I want to sell art. That way I could purchase codes and the like.

Um when was I impatient? I'm just saying that we have points and code credits but so far it's a little hard to earn enough to buy most of what we have in shop.

well tbh I didnt quite know how the VBcommerce shop functioned until the day I installed this addon to VBulletin forum. I will still need to study more into this shop system and see what is the best way for it to work out. The shop in future can be used as a free market in which everyone can create/buy/sell items. For a market to serve its purposes, we will need more people. I can make everyone capable of selling items in future though, its about time.

Why more people? I say if you did add it could attract more people. Think about it would encourage people to earn more points to get items. The more item that are already up the more people will want to work to be active and sell.

I think we should make more thing to keep people here. Not just download the stuff and run off. We need to build a community and to do that we have to make the forum a interesting place to hang out. I think we should encourage people to be active and this would be a perfect excuse.

Let's face it this forum has gotten a bit slow now.

Alright, everyone should be able to create items and itemshops on the forum now, also you can sell your items at any price you set(dont make it too high though, or people wont buy it. the idea of economics demand/supply works here too. XD). Enjoy.

Ah yes, I've run in to the same problem.

umm this I will ask Enddayne since she has an iconshop.

First to create an item you'll have to be in your shop's control panel at http://www.mysidiaadoptables.com/for....php?do=shopcp

There is a drop down menu that reads:
You just have to click on that to make items. ;)

There is none for me. HOF are you sure we have full permission in the item shop?

Weirdness. I don't see anything. It would be strange if there were separate permissions because not many people want to make a shop but not sell anything...

Anyways, let us say you paid 5000 for an adoptable set. How many stages and/or recolors would you expect?

I think you should aim a little lower. Since not a lot of people would have 5000 unless there active.

I am pretty sure you can create items. Go to your shop control panel and you will find the create new items section on top of the page:
