RE: Need help with MySQL Database
The SQL statements will be automatically added to your database when you run the installer for the script. Wherever you uploaded the script go to the /install directory, so if you installed at yoursite.com/adoptables then go to www.yoursite.com/adoptables/install to run the installer. :)

RE: Need help with MySQL Database
My installer refuses to work so I spent hours adding all the tables in manually and it still won't work, please help :(
|
RE: Need help with MySQL Database
It's yoursite/adoptables/install/index.php ;)
|
RE: Need help with MySQL Database
I do that, it doesn't let me complete the installation cos it keeps coming up with "Error connecting to MySQL" I've filled in so many variations trying to get it to work but it won't :/

RE: Need help with MySQL Database
Is your database name and password correct? Make your your host settings are correct as well.
Did you create a database with the MySQL wizard? |
RE: Need help with MySQL Database
I tried everything I possibly could, and I don't think there was a MySQL wizard o.o I put in the tables maunally, took me hours ><
|
RE: Need help with MySQL Database
You could have just copied the SQL commands into the SQL tab in phpMyAdmin rather than manually creating each table.
|
RE: Need help with MySQL Database
I had to have someone talk me through it, I don't know anything about it ><
|
RE: Need help with MySQL Database
Try this tutorial > http://www.cpanel.net/media/tutorials/mysqlwizard.htm
After that you launch phpMyAdmin and copy the contents of the SQL text to the SQL tab of your database. I hope that helps. |
