MaximumRide 04-16-2012 09:23 PM

It's still not working I don't get it

SilverDragonTears 04-16-2012 09:45 PM

What steps are you using to install the script?

MaximumRide 04-16-2012 09:57 PM

what do you mean steps?

SilverDragonTears 04-16-2012 10:17 PM

._. How are you installing the script? Are you uploading the WHole folder to your site using an ftp client? And then are you installing it by going to yoursiteurl/install? Have you made databases for it? It doesn't just magically work for you. You have to actually install it first.

MaximumRide 04-16-2012 10:19 PM

Alright I will have to do that all tomorrow, it's late where I am

Once you wake up, can you go through this install tutorial and tell us what you're not doing or are doing?

Might be a good idea to follow it as well. :3

To me it seems that she uploaded script files in root directories, but not files in admincp, classes, functions, inc and install. You need to upload everything inside the Mysidia Adoptables v1.3.1 folder to your site, not just the script files you can see from first glimpse. There are many lib files, config files, img files and more from other subdirectories, you've gotta upload them all.

Well the only thing is, i'm not using X10hosting or Gemstone Hosting

Download winarar
Download Filezilla
Make sure you have a Database on your site, make one if you haven't already.
Use winrar to unzip the folder within.
Open the folder and Filezilla.
Once you have both open, take all of the files inside the folder and drag them into the area "public_html" on filezilla.

This should work for just about all hosts.

If you'd like, make another site on the same host to use as a test site, for when uploading so you can see what it looks like. It doesn't have to have a pretty name, since it won't be used for anything other than testing.
