Stuck in a rut

I'm kind of stuck/lost with what features I want to add to my website. I was wondering what features are commonly seen on pet sites (not features unique to that website, I don't want to copy!) that the Mys script doesn't already provide? I kind of wanted to build the foundation first before adding my own unique things, but I barely know what the foundation even is.

I'll just throw out some ideas for you! You might already have some of these so apologies if so lol.

Auction house for items and pets or alternatively, player-made shops
Rewards for daily login
Player-made clubs/guilds
HTML5/Flash games (earn money this way)


For improvements to current systems you have, I'd highly suggest revamping the trading system. Users also like being able to customize their profiles, so maybe enabling simple html and css on profiles.

Having contests and events is also a good way to keep players coming back. Writing contests, art contests, holiday events, etc!

Pet groups! I've always wanted them. haha And they're really handy for keeping pets sorted. :3

Pet grouping is a biggie, mini games for sure, user-owned shops, and a more streamlined trade system, though that would probably take a while to figure out.
