I know your all going to hate me for this but I'm going to ask any way.

I'd like to request a limit to the size of signatures maybe to like under 500px or some thing. It's a bit frustrating to read post when there is a 400px high signature between posts.

Yes, we definitely need a signature limit. I don't like seeing huge signatures in posts ether.

Maybe 300 by something?

300px by what ever the board's width is sounds like the best way to go.

Yes, I agree about 200%. :D

I don't think any bigger than 300px tall is very nice to look at... it takes so long to scroll past, and just separates all the posts even more. :P

Well you know what, I have a solution for you. Just go to usercp/edit option/thread display option, deselect this option called 'show signature'. You should be just fine afterwards:

While that is a good option HoF, I'd like to see signatures. I just don't like the few huge ones.

I'm actually going to suggest a limit of 350px to 400px. Not that my signature is that high, but sometimes people's pets can get up to 400px in size and it would be nice to allow most if not all adoptable pets, plus there is an option to not see signatures. Because of that feature, I think that we shouldn't be as strict on the size of the signatures.

I have to disagree with you, I know people have large pets but most forum ARE strict on the size of the signatures. I have be honest do to the fact most forums being scrict on the size of the signatures I don't see why you would have a adoptable over 200px. Heck even 200pxs are a stretch. I think the most I ever see most forums go is 150 at the lowest to 400px at the highest.

I think just because some people choose to have adopts over 300pxs that should not mean we have to lose seeing any signatures at all.

Hear me out in the bigger picture if a lot of active posters have 300-400px adoptable in there signatures then it will mean a lot more people will disable there signatures. That leaves us who have smaller adopts not being seen because people don't want to see any signatures at all. I feel us who have smaller adopts or advertise with signatures would be screwed.

Not sure how to implement this but a forum I was on would automatically hide parts of a sig if it was over x amount. Your signature would still be there but it would only display the top of your sig (if that makes sense, I don't have a screenshot anymore of it)

Basically I once had a sig on this site that was just about 3 pxs over and the bottoms of letters like g and y were cut off. Yeah this sounds confusing to me, does it make sense to you guys? And the full signature would be displayed on the user's profile "About Me" page.
