The renamed file config.php has to be on your site's files, as long as it's there you can rename it where you want ^^

Okay, thank you! :)
So... My second issue, is that I'm on #18 now, and I'm confused. My domain? Do I need to make it on .10xhosting? Or is it already the one provided, http://carriedaway.comule.com/? http://www.mysidiaadoptables.com/for...ead.php?t=1663 (just the link again to the tutorial) It says open a new tab, but then in the next step it says "once you have successfully installed it". What? Where did it ever mention installing anything? Oi, what do I do? (so many issues hhaa I'm sorry!) |

You should have a link to your site, in whatever host you use. It seems your site with mysidia will be http://carriedaway.comule.com/Mysidi...ables%20v1.3.4 because you put the mysidia files inside a folder named Mysidia Adoptables v1.3.4 inside public_html. Rename the folder to something else you'd like? Or put the files outside that folder (directly inside public_html) to make it the root of your site (http://carriedaway.comule.com)
It says open a new tab at the /install page. Once you reach the /install page you will need to follow the steps through installation. In this case, your install page is http://carriedaway.comule.com/Mysidi...v1.3.4/install

Is that the url people will have to type in to get to my site?

Yes (minus /install, that /install page will have to be deleted after installation), that's why I suggest changing the folder's name (from Mysidia Adoptables v.3.1.4 to something else) or copying the contents of that folder to directly inside public_html (makes it the root site)

But I haven't made a host site for a domain yet... is the tutorial like put in backwards or something?
(I'm really unsure of how to do what you're saying.) |

Isn't http://carriedaway.comule.com your site?

Yes, that is my site. So would they type in that to just get to my site, or the Mysidia thing too?
And if it's only that, why would I rename the folder? |

For example, think of public_html as the full link to your site http://carriedaway.comule.com. Any folder with mysidia files you put in public_html, for example Folder1, will be accessible like this http://carriedaway.comule.com/Folder1
In your case, you don't have anything in public_html, besides the folder Mysidia Adoptables v.1.3.4, so your users will have to go to http://carriedaway.comule.com/Mysidi...tables v.1.3.4 to access your site (once installed). If you rename the folder to something else, your users will be able to use that link instead. To use http://carriedaway.comule.com (root) you need to copy the contents of the mysidia folder to public_html

I thought I already did that... When I dragged them over and placed them into the public_html? If I haven't, how do I do that?
