Default need feedback on something

I added the background mod but I ran into a bit of a issue. Not a big one but more of a thing I didn't plan for. So my pets have 4 stages egg, baby, child and adult. Now I started making the sprites and noticed that for backgrounds the first three stages are fine but the adults take up more canvas room. I am not sure if I should redraw the adults (which would be mean redoing a lot of them or if it's really not that big of a deal enough to bother with.

Here are some examples:

I am not sure what users might want so before I make anymore art only to have to do exit edits to fix it I'd thought I'd get outside feedback.

My only suggestion would be to make the backgrounds bigger, and you can do this by just zooming them in double their current size. The babies will look even smaller, which I think would be a good thing since they're supposed to be teeny! And the adults won't look so big. Maybe make the grass near the front more defined and bigger, to make it look like there's more of a foreground and to give perspective.

Hope you don't mind I edited your artwork. Figured a picture to accompany would show better what I mean.

Edit: Even if you don't make the bg larger, I think just adding some larger defined grass like I mentioned will give more size perspective.

I tried to make it bigger but I it caused a few issues with the profile but it was a good idea. I might test making the adoptables 150 instead of 125.

however I tried making the adopt a little smaller.

Does this make it look a little better?

What a tasty looking hedgehog!!!! I love food themed pets. I do like the edited version where you made the adult a bit smaller.
