Looking for a coder/designer for hire
I currently own a site: www.buddypet.net .. It's a social community for pets and pet lovers. The term 'pets' though is loosely based and can be anything from dogs and cats, to pet rocks, imaginary friends, etc. I have the adoptables script installed, just not linked on my site, you can see it here.
I will be honest.. I don't know much about php or mysql but I'm learning! I currently have a few things I need and am willing to pay. I know I could probably research it but I just don't have time.. 2 full time jobs, 1 being buddypet.net, family, etc, etc.. 1) I need a TON of avatars.. all at least 5 stages starting from an egg and evolving. I also want to have 'fabled' pets, where at the last level, you could get a rare version of the pet. We can either do it in bulk, or a few at a time. All must be 100% original! 2) I need someone who would be willing to install a currency system with games, and a market to trade/buy/sell pets with other members. 3) I need to have a dynamic randomizer where, for instance, you pick a puppy.. you can have a chance of getting one with black spots, red spots, green spots, or the 'fabled', which will be pure white, or pure black or something along those lines. 4) I need to incorporate this into buddypet.net's login system instead of having its' own so when you register for buddypet, it will register you on the adoptables page. I own the site and have access to everything you would need. It's all housed on a VPS so plenty of space and bandwidth to play around. I would definitely be willing to pay anyone that could install these for me or help me. Maybe we can work something out if you'd be willing to work on more than just a per-function basis because I would like a LOT more done as well. I have tons of ideas but no time to work on them. Terms: Payments would be via PayPal and we can talk more to get a clear, concise idea of what's going on. Please email me at: admin@buddypet.net |

RE: Looking for a coder/designer for hire
Zami at Pets Galore Spa could be of assistance to you. PGS is a site I believe very simular to what you are wanting to build. While I own PGS.. Zami is currently in charge due to health reasons. http://www.petsgalorespa.net/pgs She is also in the process right now of setting up servers for sell to anyone pet target pet sites & fan sites. I would suggest you join PGS & PM her in the forum as she can do much for you.
I did see you PM'ed me & while I haven't yet read it I believe it concerns this. Yes I can also work on the project as well as art work for as it is what you are wanting is in no way a 1 person job :) Zami & I work together on a few sites so it would be a known working relationship. Sea |
