I would have to agree with Bloodrun. There are cons to making the admin control panel different pages. It's one thing to add a mod with a plugin to the admin control panel, it's another to change the basic functions.
I am working on a project to overhaul the Admin Control Panel, so if you have any ideas please let me know.
