Access Denied. Help me <3

Ok, I've noticed that some people have this problem and I've found no solution for this so far, so I will ask.

When I go to to the admin CP i get the welcome message and blah blah...
I *can access/edit* Site Settings and Change Users
I *can not access/edit* Change Adoptables and Change Content.

I tried like lots of thing and I didn't succeed, not even a little.

I'm a little better then a newbie in php, but no more then that, so if you told me where and what to edit I could do it, probably.

I asked the host if they did any special changes to php and they said they didn't.

Love,
Kuna

Well... If you go into the Change Users, and then look up your own user, it should be usergroup 1.
If it isn't like that, you could try to change it.

This might be because you didn't install your pages right.
You didn't happen to change any of the coding in the admin.php file did you?

Hmm I've never had this problem, so I don't know. You'll have to wait for BMR777 to help you out.

Ok, that is odd that you can access only certain areas and not others with the admin account. Is that account the only admin account?

Go to "Change Users" and click "Manage Usergroups and Permissions". Create a new usergroup by clicking "Create a New Usergroup". Then go back to the page that lists all of the groups and edit the group you just made, giving it full permissions. Then assign your account to the new usergroup from the "Change Users" area.

Let me know if that works.
Brandon
