I was sitting in school, and saw the second plane hit on live feed. One of our seniors (just a year ahead of me) came running from another class telling us to get the TV on.

Glad we did. I got to witness history in the making.

(Since it was a "shop" class on Architecture, our teacher had us do our own redesigns and I brought in little Matchbox planes to try and take em down with. My planes, did not succeed where the real ones did. My classmates and I all came up with good ideas to redo the towers and got good grades out of it.)

Yep. I was at work and we had the tv's on while the kids slept at nap time. (I was a daycare teacher) Doesn't seem like it's been 10 years. I'm so very proud to be an American!

I missed school that day for a dentist appointment and saw the whole news story at home pretty much as it was happening.
