Sprite Artist For Hire

Hello, there! Abronsyth/Perocore/Arik here!

I'm not having luck teaching myself PHP, and with Mys getting more advanced I'm just sort of falling behind. So the only thing I've really been able to do is sprite!

I would love to work with someone who's developing a website. I don't have much experience with items but I'd like to gain some. Mostly I've done animals, in various styles. I do larger works (roughly 200x200 px), medium sized pieces (100x100 ish) and smaller pieces (50x50 ish), ranging from complex to simplistic. I've worked with a wide variety of animals, including reptiles, birds, mammals, and fantasy creatures.

I will only be working on/for/with one website, so if you're interested in having me as a part of your team please message me or post here! I'll just need to know what sort of creatures/things you'll be asking of me, and how often (one small sprite base takes about 20 minutes to complete).

Payment wise I ask only for proper credit on the site, and occasionally virtual cookies.

Wow! I love your sprites! <3 It's such a pity that my site doesn't use pixel art because I'd love to work with you. But, I can make some virtual cookies for you as long as you dn't care about the art style. :D

Abronsyth 07-01-2014 12:51 PM

Indeed a pity! But thank you for the kind words and virtual cookies!

I'm very interested. I will be adding tons of toys and Pets for my Pets .. and would love to use some of your creations!

Are you any good at drawing koi?

Rovick 07-01-2014 09:00 PM

Wow just wow! I only have 1 specie on my site, but when breeded, there will be different kids of them (different tails, ears etc.

Rovick 07-01-2014 09:02 PM

I just need average size (50-75px for eggs, 100-150 for grew already)

Infernette 07-01-2014 10:24 PM

I may be interested but may I ask for a specific piece of work first to see if your quality will match with the other pieces on my site? Currently I've got a long list of art that I need for various new features and I can't do the code and art for both like I've normally been.

Abronsyth 07-04-2014 12:50 PM

Annatar, thank you for your interest! I don't think my style would quite fit your site, but I'd will be creating some open source items as practice and releasing them here on Mys for everyone to use :)

squiggler, actually yes. Well, depends on what your definition of good is, haha. I draw koi more than any other fish (as I have a pet koi who I adore). I know have some fish art around here somewhere...I'll run off to find it!

Rovick, what is your website/the species? I need to know a bit about what would be expected of me before agreeing to it ;)

Infernette, yes that is perfectly fine! It helps if I could see some of the work on your site so that I know what it is you're looking for!

For me I'm okay with a wider variety of styles(I often accept sprites from random people trying to get their name out) and at the moment I'm about to partake a large function that will need a steady influx of species to give some variety. I was wondering if you could show me a pixel of adult (up to 120x 120, can go smaller though- to 50x50 even) of what you think when you hear lumber dragon? I mostly do the eggs so you won't have to worry about those. :3 Sprites come in sets of baby-teen-adult and baby and teen can be two different or can just have minor differences(i.e. wings and spines grew, ect.)
