News mod/CuteNews on index page?

Hi,

I would like to have news displayed on my index page but am having trouble figuring out how to do it.

I have tried to put CuteNews (http://cutephp.com) on my index page, but the news items display above my site layout and I'm not sure how to put it back into the content area. I used the tutorial for putting PHP on your index page (http://www.mysidiaadoptables.com/for...ead.php?t=4767) and have the script for CuteNews inserted in the body of the page, but it loads above the layout and I'm not sure how to fix that.

I figured CuteNews may just not be compatible with Mysidia, so I installed the news mod from this forum (http://www.mysidiaadoptables.com/for...ead.php?t=4392) and it works fine, but it's on a separate news.php page. I guess my main question is - how can I have the news from this news mod appear on my index.php page? I'm sure this is possible but haven't figured it out so far.

Thanks for any help!

Well Mysidia Adoptables is compatible with most third party scripts, though integration is a different story. We do not have official integration support for CuteNews, to make the news show up on your adoptables site you will have to create the bridge script yourself, likely connecting to another database and pulling data/information from there.
