Um... How do I add a premade theme?

title says it all...

Just gonna extend it...
How do I put on a premade theme onto my website? Cause I'm having a hard time doing it to my mysidiahost website.

First download the theme of your choice then upload the folder to you templates folder.

Next go to your admin CP and go to "Themes" and click "Add/Install New Theme"

Put a name under "Theme Name"

Under "Theme Folder" make sure to put the exact name as the folder that's in your template folder.

Leave the rest blank

Make sure to to check: "The style has been uploaded to the site, and is pending for installation" since you already uploaded it.

After that you can use the theme.

Also if your going to change the "Default Theme" put the folder name not the name you gave the theme. I learned that one the hard way.

do I have to unzip the folder? cause the one I have is zipped.

Yes. :wutno:

(Make sure the folder name matches the theme name exactly when you go to install it - exact capitalization matters. "Bootstrap" is different than "bootstrap" is different than "BootStrap", etc.)

You need to unzip the folder, then upload the entire folder to public_html/templates/ folder.
