Help? >.<

Okay, hey guys, I just installed the script on pewcats.mysidia.com, and I must have messed something up. No matter what I do;

Warning: require(/home/pewcatsm/public_html/public_html/inc/smarty/Smarty.class.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/pewcatsm/public_html/classes/class_mysidia.php on line 326

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required '/home/pewcatsm/public_html/public_html/inc/smarty/Smarty.class.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/pewcatsm/public_html/classes/class_mysidia.php on line 326

Anyone know what I did wrong?

Hall of Famer 12-09-2015 11:34 PM

Apparently you did not specify the correct domain or script path when installing the script. I see you have selected adoptables script installation addon, so I will install it for you, and PM you the login info once it is done.

Edit: It is working now, you specified public_html as your script path, which should be left as blank.

PewCats 12-10-2015 07:16 AM

Thank you! :D

Edit: Wait, now what? I didn't plan this whole idea out very well. I mean I did, but I have no idea what to do now. ;n;

Hall of Famer 12-11-2015 04:02 AM

You are very welcome. And do you encounter any other issues with your site? If so, I'd be more than willing to help you out.

PewCats 12-11-2015 09:50 AM

Can you help me with ACP? I can't figure it out. I don't know how to sign into it. Also, I'm having trouble with PHP X.x

Hall of Famer 12-11-2015 09:54 AM

umm what do you mean? You sign into ACP in the same way you log into your account, just click the link at sidebar that leads you to ACP, and fill the login form. If you can login from the main site, you shouldnt have a problem with ACP.

PewCats 12-11-2015 01:12 PM

But where IS the login thingy?

PewCats 12-11-2015 01:16 PM

Nevermind I figured it out :D

PewCats 12-11-2015 01:20 PM

Okay, how do I add an adoptable? And how do I edit my theme?

Hall of Famer 12-11-2015 02:44 PM

Well you can do it in admin control panel. Select the menu item Adoptable -> create an adoptable to add a new adoptable.

PewCats 12-11-2015 03:18 PM

Okay but would I do that in Cpanel or what? I don't understand ;n;

Hall of Famer 12-11-2015 03:52 PM

Nope, not in Cpanel, its in Admin Control Panel. You can access it from this link:

http://pewcats.mysidiahost.com/admincp/

PewCats 12-11-2015 04:12 PM

I get it now! Thank you so much!

Hall of Famer 12-11-2015 04:15 PM

You are very welcome. Anyway you may try to explore the admin control panel a bit more, and you will be amazed at how much you can do with it. Enjoy. ^^

PewCats 12-11-2015 05:26 PM

Aaaah I broke my themes trying to install the bookstore theme x.x Can you help me?

SapphirePhoenix 12-12-2015 05:10 AM

How did you try to install the theme? Did you go to the cPanel?

PewCats 12-12-2015 10:09 AM

I moved the files like the instructions said and then I tried to use ACP and it didn't work
pewcats.mysidiahost.com

Hall of Famer 12-12-2015 11:31 AM

I checked your site and it seems that you uploaded the theme .zip file to folder /templates, but it is an archived file and you havent extracted it. Of course you break your site for this.

PewCats 12-12-2015 11:33 AM

Sorry D:
What do I do to fix it? Get rid of the file?

Hall of Famer 12-12-2015 11:38 AM

Nope, you need to extract this file and then you should have a folder called 'bookstore', and it should contain some files such as header.tpl and template.tpl. You should upload this 'bookstore' folder to /template directory. What you did was to upload the .zip file, which will not work.

PewCats 12-12-2015 11:48 AM

I did, but it still isn't showing up.

Sorry to bother you this much!

Hall of Famer 12-12-2015 12:00 PM

I see. Now it seems that everything is set up correctly, I dont know why it wont work for you. Maybe try clearing your cache? Also maybe when you created the theme in ACP, the name 'bookstore' was capitalized('Bookstore' instead)?

PewCats 12-12-2015 12:02 PM

I think i deleted a file or two in /css when I tried using the instructions :cfrown:

PewCats 12-12-2015 12:04 PM

And edited tabs.css

Hall of Famer 12-12-2015 12:07 PM

I checked your site, and it seems that your theme is not created in admin control panel. Your database also says that you are not using the theme 'bookstore', so clearly the bookstore theme does not break your site. When I visited your site, the default theme 'main' also was working fine. Did you edit one of the other built-in themes, such as 'green'?

PewCats 12-12-2015 12:08 PM

I think I did.
I'm so sorry :ohnoes:

Hall of Famer 12-12-2015 12:11 PM

I see, then you can just restore it back to normal. I can do it for you, by just overwriting the /templates/green folder. If you want to use the theme 'bookstore', just go to ACP and create a theme with name 'Bookstore' and folder 'bookstore'. Then it should work for you.

PewCats 12-12-2015 12:18 PM

Can you restore it? Or can I just create the bookstore theme?

Hall of Famer 12-12-2015 12:28 PM

I will restore it. Its enough easy.

Edit: Done, check your site now and hopefully theres no error anymore.

PewCats 12-12-2015 01:11 PM

The textbox is off to the left still. ;m;

PewCats 12-12-2015 01:13 PM

Update:
Whenever I try to edit the bookstore settings, I get this:
SplFileObject::__construct(/home/pewcatsm/public_html/templates/bookstore/style.css): failed to open stream: No such file or directory

Hall of Famer 12-12-2015 01:34 PM

Well this tells you that the theme has no style.css file. It is a problem with the bookstore theme, and its beyond what my support can offer. You need to contact the designer who made the bookstore theme.

PewCats 12-12-2015 01:35 PM

Ah. Okay, thanks!

Hall of Famer 12-12-2015 01:38 PM

you are welcome. But anyway, its enough strange since I checked the header.tpl file for this theme, and dont find that its trying to load style.css file. This means the style is working fine, but something else causes the error on your site.

Update: I found that this is actually a problem with many themes, as you cannot edit the theme in ACP unless the theme has a style.css file. My recommendation is to not change styles through ACP, and instead edit it in FTP or your local file directly, then upload your modified files to your server to overwrite the old file.

PewCats 12-12-2015 02:21 PM

I fixed it, on line 142 of the /bookstore/main.css file. I changed something. I can't find where to edit the text, however.

Hall of Famer 12-12-2015 02:43 PM

Well if you rename main.css to style.css, it will work for you. Although by doing this, you also need to change the header.tpl file to load style.css, not main.css. This is a minor issue though, as it states that only themes with style.css as its css file can be edited in ACP. Otherwise, you need to edit the theme by simply modifying its file content, not from ACP.

PewCats 12-12-2015 02:48 PM

Okay. I HAS A MEMBER :D

PewCats 12-12-2015 02:53 PM

Oh god what happened it stopped working

PewCats 12-12-2015 02:54 PM

It deleted my body html for the bookstore theme. How do I fix that?

Hall of Famer 12-12-2015 02:54 PM

oh I see, congrats that you have a new member. And calm down, tell me what makes your site stop working? I visited your site as a guest and everything was normal.
