And if you do not mind, please take a look at the css and user profile tabs and lemme know if you can find the cause of menu bar's disappearance on profile page. This is a bug I cant manage to fix myself, since it requires more than PHP. *sigh*
Well its not that I skipped JS. I learned PHP/Mysql from a book, which did not teach Javascript in it.
It is indeed planned and will be developed, but not in recent future. Mys v1.3.0 is the top priority right now, as you may have noticed that itemshop will be made available starting from Mys v1.3.0. After Mys v1.3.x series, the Mys v1.4.x will follow with a series of improvement over existing scripts and layouts. The prerequisites for battle system will be developed throughout the course of Mys v1.4.x, such as Stats(such as attack, defense), Moves(such as physical attacks, spells), Elements(such as fire, water) and Status(such as Poisoned, Paralyzed). A battle system is quite complicated, and cannot be accomplished without doing all these prerequisites I've just mentioned.
Ah I see, this sounds interesting. I cannot code in javascript yet, but perhaps I will take a look into it when Mys v1.5.0 is in development since pure PHP/Mysql may not be sufficient to create a battle system. Have fun doing Mods too.
Thanks a lot. I wrote these functions to convert uid from/to username dating back to the time I was designing friends/friendlist system. The friendlist needs to be saved as uid, but when you view your friendlist it is supposed to show a list of friend names, not friend ids. Did not know it would be this useful back then.
Well I've defined two functions since Mys v1.2.2, which converts username to uid or the other way around. Manipulate these two functions if you wish to convert between username and uid.
Password encryption is strengthened with the new release of Mys v1.2.3. Cant guarantee I've fixed all script flaws in this version but we try our best to resolve every possible issue before Mys v1.3.0 comes out. Hope you like it so far.
